Vicky's Pet Services

Vicky's drive to began teaching puppy classes started after spending 5 years as Behaviour Advisor and Animal Welfare Assistant, caring for and rehabilitating dogs and cats at the Blue Cross rehoming centre in Bromsgrove. The variety of ages, breeds and behavioural issues worked with on a daily basis provided her with not only with invaluable experience, but also the passion to realise that working with dogs was a life-long vocation. 

Vicky started her training career in 2008 with Puppy School founded by Gwen Bailey. She progressed within the organisation to the role of regional manager for the Midlands, and was a Puppy School tutor for 11 years.

The training Vicky now offers has evolved and expanded a lot since those early days, and now includes basic and advanced courses for young puppies, older puppies and adult dogs, 1:1 sessions, workshops focusing on specific disciplines, and her personal favourite- doggie sports agility and Hoopers with the emphasis on FUN!

Vicky has been studying with Galen Myotherapy centre for 2.5 years and is now very excited to be offering canine massage and red light therapy to enhance well-being and quality of life to physically compromised dogs 

Vicky shares her life with her husband Gareth, Collie cross Ted, Whippet Bill, Italian Greyhound Pesto, Cat Sadie and rescue chickens. The 'kids' enjoy accompanying the couple on regular adventures in their motorhome. Next stop; Scotland to explore the NC500 route!

Attending regular seminars and training courses to update and expand her knowledge as the dog world is constantly evolving with new science-based methods, Vicky's passion is to bring these elements into classes, and is the main ethos of Vicky's Pet Services. 

Vicky is a proud member of several industry organisations; Association of Pet Dog Trainers ( which adheres to strict codes of conduct, and uses kind methods, the Animal Behaviour & Training Council (, she is also a qualified Pro Dog Trainer with Absolute Dogs, and a Canine Hoopers World instructor.
